IP Skills
In health last week we had been working on our interpersonal skills, and we had done a marshmallow tower challenge. We worked as a team of four, (Kayla, Nishitha, Jackson, and I). We were given 12 marshmallows, and 8 stewers to hold it together. We had a time limit of 12 minutes.
What IP skills did I show/use today? Did you use any warm fuzzies?
The warm fuzzies I used today in our task were "great tower guys".
How did it help with the success/lack if success, of the activity?
In our team of four, it was an unsuccessful activity. This was because we hadn't used our verbal communication, and we had tried working as individuals.
Who did you work with that went well today?
Nishitha helped our team out a lot by creating our base of the marshmallow tower.
If you were to do it again, how would you do it differently?
If I was to do it again, I would suggest not snapping the stewers in half again, because that's what made our tower more unsuccessful.
What level of Hellison's behaviour model were you working at in this activity and provide examples of this?
As a team we were at a mix of a level 3 and 4. This is because I managed to work as a team, but when our tower had fallen, lack of communication was made by me. This was a lack of encouragement by me.

Health Crisis in New Zealand
Hi guys and welcome back to another blog. For the past 8ish weeks in Hurumanu 6 we've been looking at health crisis in New Zealand. For my health crisis I looked at PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). I chose this health crisis because I wanted to know more about it as I know someone that has it. When I did my research about PTSD, I learnt quite a lot. I didn't know that there would be so much information about it. If I was to do this again I would want to look at schizophrenia. This is because of how serious this health crisis is. When I had finished researching about PTSD, I wanted to know people's experience about having PTSD. What they had gone through, what it was like etc. It was scary knowing that people went/go through the things that they had gone through.

EOTC Activity Taskboard
Hi guys and welcome back to another blog. Last week we went out on some EOTC day, (education outside the classroom). Before going on these three days we had a look at what they would be like and some things that we might want to know. All of the places we had gone to I had already been there before so it wasn't going to be a 'so cool first time' moment. What we had done was learn about some of the places that we were going to go. On the three days we went to three different places, Jellie Park, Adrenalin Forest, and The City Centre. On each day we went with our own Kahui and on some days we were to go with another Kahui. For my Kahui, we went to Jellie Park on Wednesday the 2nd, Adrenalin Forest on Thursday the 3rd, and City Centre on Friday the 4th. On Friday we went with Mohua, but we didn't really see them out there. Here is my EOTC Activity Taskboard. Enjoy :).

Women's Suffrage
Hi guys and welcome back to my blog. Lately in Hurumanu 1 we have been learning about protests in New Zealand. Women's suffrage is one of the biggest protests that have happened in the New Zealand, as well as all over the world. Women's suffrage is a big matter in many countries, and is different all round.
