Level 0
Irresponsible
Blames and abuses others
Calls other students names
Disruptive - vocally loud
Uses put downs
Pushes and shoves others
Inattentive during instructions
Frequently off task
Does not abide by the rules
Level 1
Self control (respect)
Practices tasks but is easily distracted
Minimal involvement - willing to sit and do nothing
Participates without blaming or abusing others
Requires teacher supervision to complete the tasks
Often non productive
Listens to instructions
Level 2
Involvement (participation)
Is actively involved in activities
Genuinely interested in learning
Avoids disturbing others
Tries new things without complaining ‘gives it a go’
Helps set up equipment and tidies up afterwards
Tries hard, is honest and abides by the rules
Level 3
Self responsibility (self direction)
Undertakes to learn and practice skills without supervision
Sets and works towards achieving goals
Makes sure that they return the equipment
Always prepared for activities
Does not need direct supervision
Makes own decisions about their learning - self motivated
Works cooperatively in group situations
Level 4
Caring
Cares for and respects others
Listens to and is sensitive to the needs of others
Encourages and assists others
Demonstrates good teamwork during activities
Will work without rewards
